Hey Everyone it's B here Graces daddy and I've decided to make a guest appearance on the blog this week. Mamma C usually takes care of the blog but she has been really busy the last few weeks and just hasn't had time to post, so ill provide a little update.
The sickness that was in our house has finally left us, Grace and I are doing much better and I am finally back to work and she is back to daycare. Lets hope that the nice weather will keep us both sickness free.
We had a great Easter weekend. Grace and C went to Zilla and Grampers for the night Saturday so daddy could get some much need rest. I headed out on Sunday for an excellent turkey dinner and ice cream cake to celebrate Auntie Murr's birthday.
Grace is now saying a ton of words, I can't keep track of how many now. She can also point to most of her body parts when asked, she can identify a bunch of animals when asked and always points out when there is a "birdie" on a page in one of her books. She can clearly say Zilla, Mémé (my mom) and PaPa (my dad) and we were working on Rob (my brother) but she still hasn't mastered that one yet.
Yesterday day care was closed for the Easter Monday holiday and I took a vacation day so I could stay home and hangout with G. Lets just say when daddy and G are home and they are both feeling good G gets spoiled. First I made one of her favorite foods for lunch, spaghetti, then we went out shopping. We hit Old Navy, Winners, Costco and the Pet Store. Grace came home with two new shirts, 3 new books, 1 new puzzle and toy cell phone. Nothing from the pet store but we had fun looking at all the animals especially the "birdies".
