Canada Day has become one of my favorite holidays. Every year since Grace was born we've gone to the big party in Aunt MaryAnne's neighborhood. There is a parade, bbq, music, games for the kids, and we always have a great time!
This year MaryAnne was in Toronto for the week so we decided to spend the day at the camp. Zilla, Auntie Murr, Uncle Matt, and Madeline came up too. It was a gorgeous day! We spent a good part of the day down on the beach. Madeline loves playing in the sand; Anna doesn't like getting her hands dirty but had a great time walking along the shore, in and out of the water, and climbing up onto the dock. Grace was the only one to really get in for a swim! The water was chilly but she didn't mind. We had a bit of rain after supper but it didn't last long, so we still managed to have a little campfire and Grace had her first s'more! They were yummy but the bugs were so bad, we didn't stay out by the fire for very long.
