Faceplant

This series of photos makes me laugh so hard. Anna was slowly making her way down the hill and I saw Grace waiting for her with her arms wide open to catch her so I started taking pictures, thinking how sweet it was. Anna made it to Grace and they held hands as they continued down the hill, then Grace started running while still holding Anna's hand and Anna's little legs just couldn't keep up!

Dora!

A couple weekends ago, we went to see Dora the Explorer Live! Zilla and I took Grace to this show the last time it was in town and all 3 of us were excited to bring Anna along with us this time.
The girls both loved the show! Anna was mesmerized and barely moved, it was so cute to watch her just taking it all in. Grace enjoyed it just as much as the first time and was even more involved this time around, singing along and calling out to Dora and Boots when they asked for help.
Anna didn't want us to leave our seats during the intermission, afraid she might miss something! But we talked her into going for a little walk and having a snack. Then both girls were very happy to see Diego on stage after the break!
We went out for supper afterwards and despite having to wait for a table and waiting quite a while for our food, the girls were awesome. They were so excited to tell Bampers about the show when we dropped Zilla off, and told Daddy all about it when we got home.

Zilla probably won't like that I posted this picture on here, but I just love how excited and happy the girls look!

Zilla told the girls they could each pick one thing from the merchandise table. Grace was happy with her Dora stuffie but couldn't wait to get her hands on Anna's toy too.

Mud, Glorious Mud!

The girls got good and muddy playing at Zilla and Bampers' house the other day! I don't mind the girls getting dirty when playing outside, but I was initially telling them to take it easy because I hadn't brought extra clothes or shoes for them. But then Zilla brought out the pie plates and shovels to make mud pies.... how could I say no? The girls both love jumping in puddles and Grace especially loves playing in the mud. Anna doesn't like to get too dirty so while Grace was sitting in the mud and digging right in with her hands, Anna stayed on her feet and used her little shovel. 

They had a ball and Zilla helped with the clean up - even scrubbed out the inside of Grace's boots, which were soaked and full of mud!
